Marcus Is Honored by Ted Arnold (Author of The Fly Guy series )

Diana came over and gave Marcus a special envelope. She has been in touch with Ted Arnold who is the author of the Fly Guy series. Marcus has written several Fly Guy books himself, click here to read the story. He wrote a note to Marcus and gave him his new Fly Guy book with...
an inscription to Marcus dedicating his latest book to him. Wow!!!
He gave him the very first copy of the book (it's not even out yet) with a sweet hand-drawn picture with his signature.
As you can tell, Marcus was thrilled! The greatest news is that Diana has asked Ted Arnold to come to Dufur as a speaker. Marcus is going to meet him next year!!! Awesome! He got all inspired once again and wrote a new Fly Guy book about his Papa Russ who is a cowboy. It's quite funny!

Kathy, they are a cute series that are easy to read. I wonder if you could find them online?

Marcus loved them so much, he decided Ted wasn't writing them fast enough for him, so he started writing his own!

Tedd Arnold lives just a few miles away from me and does a lot of public readings and such. If Marcus ever wants to meet him you guys are all welcome to stay with us! We have a big house!

My stepmom has made it possible for him to come to her school (she is a teacher) next April, so we will get to meet him there. Should be very exciting!

How fun! We have seen and checked out those books at the library quite often. By the way, wanted to let you know I came across your blog from Above Rubies. I had to check it you because you we're in Oregon too! (Corvallis, that is) Glad to have another mom to stay in touch with in very similar shoes! You have beautiful family also.. Blessings!
