Thanksgiving at The Grange

We have quite a large extended family, so we rent a grange. Here are the kids and I lined up on one of the benches.
The lighting is bad, but Lily just looks too cute! I just had to share.
Here is the main part of the grange. We brought a scooter and a trike for the kids to play on. Grandma Regina and her daughter dusted off the piano and played some tunes for us.
Here is Daddeo with Lily Pie! Yes, he actually had Thanksgiving off! It was wonderful!

Glad you had a great day. Time spent with family is the best. How many did you cook for?

There were over 30 people there, but we were in charge of the Devilled eggs and mashed potatoes. I had the kids help me and they took pride in being able to say that they had a part in it.

You have such a beautiful family and your baby is adorable.

I think your children will have fond memories of helping you cook. I love to do this with my kids too. Their proud grins are priceless.

Blessings,
JEN

PS - thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment. I need to hear I'm doing a good job every once in a while. ;) And yes....we absolutely LOVE our Ergo! It's such a life saver, especially during chores. lol

SO happy for you that your husband was off! I know how precious that must've been! (Mine had to work - we're thankful for his job, but we sure missed being together!)

Thanks for the photos. Your kids are adorable. I remember years ago our family, when I was growing up, would rent the fellowship hall for a big family thanksgiving. That was fun!! Memories! Glad that Steve had the day off to spend with family. They need a holiday too! Hugs!
