Official Orange Belts!

Today, the three older kids had their belt ceremony. It was very cool, to watch them recieve their belts and listen to the positive things that their instructor had to say. Here is Josh recieving his...
And Marcus...
And Jessica, who is the youngest child that the Norton's had ever tested.
Now that is a job well done, guys! Mom and Dad are so proud of your accomplishments in Tae Kwon Do! You worked hard for it and it paid off! I pray that God will continue to help you stay focused so that you can continue to move up.

Congrats! We don't have orange as one of the belt colors. Ours goes white, yellow, green, blue, blue w/stripe, purple, purple w/ strip, brown, brown w/stripe, red and black. Yes, my boys are officially brown belts and I have no pictures!!! TKD has been a wonderful experience for our boys.

Kimberly, I think our kids are doing a different type of TKD. Is yours called Mudaquan? I know I spelled that wrong, but do you know what I mean?

Catherine, yes, they wear this new belt until they promote to yellow next.

I don't know about their TKD- I know they do chun (spelling?) forms, they have a great instructor through our local parks dept. so the cost is affordable. The instructor says that they'll be brown for a while, in the upper belts they like for the students to perfect their technique.
