Mountian Ranch

Washington has made this a State Park. I didn't even know it was across the river. The kids are I are really excited about having a picnic and a hike when it gets warmer. The wind was just howling!
They had a bunch of old farm equipment roped off. This is an old wheat thresher.
These are such sweet pictures of some of the kids. Lily and Jacob were asleep in the car. The purple Lupin is gorgeous!
I love this picture! They all look so happy! They were glad they got to get out of the Suburban. The yellow flowers are Balsam Root. They look like a type of Black-Eyed Susan.

I'm so glad you've discovered this area! It was Ron's and my favorite place to go every spring when the lupine and balsam root are blooming! We have tons of beautiful pics of them! In fact, it's one of the things we miss the most (in addition to the people, LOL)! We have both flowers up here, but haven't seen a show like The Dalles Mt. Rd. puts on every spring! ~Bev~
