Andrew "Box" Brown

This kid is naturally learning history! Andrew took an interest in a library book I got the boys called "Henry's Freedom Box: A Story About the Underground Railroad". Well, Nana got it for Marcus for Christmas, so we've been reading it almost daily. I saw him in this box and he said he was "Henry Box Brown" and he was mailing himself to Dr. Smith in Philadelphia! Wow, I couldn't believe he picked up on all that!
Here he is "arriving" in Philadelphia!
Here he is with his favorite book. Isn't he precious? I'm so glad he is starting to show an interest in history. He'll fit right in with the rest of us!

Thank you for all the great comments! You & I have more in common that I realized!!! My Mom also ended up working at the same place we were staying (new building though) :) I am thankful & grateful for everything I've been through. God has always been a part of it all, mightily! I hope to reveal that in my future posts, showing the thread of his love in the tapestry of my earlier years. Thanks again!
PS Our girl is right in the middle, with 2 older brothers & 2 younger & she also wants a sister very badly! :)

Thank you for sharing that. God is amazing how He works and uses our mistakes for His glory.

Also, that is so cool how our girls are sandwhiched in by our boys! We do have a lot in common!
